One of the first reds in the market is the 2017 31 Noviembre, a carbonic maceration blend of Garnacha Tintorera with 30% Cencibel, the local strain of Tempranillo from a challenging and low-yielding vintage. This is a delicious, juicy red with an explosive nose of wild berries and a touch of flowers, very recognizable as carbonic maceration, with bright aromas. The palate is soft and polished, with almost unnoticeable tannins and very clean, focused flavors. Very pleasant. 5,000 bottles were filled in November 2017.
