The Wine Advocate:

"Their regional red, which is a blend of Garnacha with 5% each Syrah and Cariñena, referred to as simply 2013 Tinto, is sourced from vineyards in the villages of San Martín de Valdeiglesias, Cadalso de los Vidrios and Cenicientos -- where the dominant soils are granite-based. The full bunches fermented at controlled temperature for 21-40 days with indigenous yeasts and the wine matured in used French oak barrels of different sizes if 300-, 400- and 500-liters for one year. As it usually happens with the reds from the region, the wine is powerful, with 14.5% alcohol, while keeping good freshness (it has a pH of 3.25). The nose made me think of carbonic maceration, with those exuberant notes of strawberry and raspberry with hints of chewing gum and lollipop. The palate shows a virtual absence of tannins, which again points at carbonic maceration. Fresh and easy to drink. The 5,000 bottles produced were filled on February 15, 2015".
