Very pretty reserva with berry, chocolate and light vanilla aromas and flavors. Medium body. Fine tannins and a juicy, fruity aftertaste. Drink now or hold.
It's not easy to make 3.5 million bottles of a wine of this quality so hats off to Barón de Ley. All sourced from the Rioja Oriental, it's Tempranillo based with support from Graciano and Maturana Tinta. Perfumed, stylish and easy going with violet and chocolate aromas, good texture and supple raspberry and blackberry fruit. 2022-27
La historia de esta bodega riojana comienza en 1548 con la construcción de un castillo en una finca de 1.000 hectáreas en la ribera del Ebro de la que era propietario el conde de Eguía.
