Real elegance here, with some vanilla, sweet spices, tobacco, plums and dark cherries on the nose. This is juicy, with lots of berries on the medium-bodied palate, following through to a tight, slightly chewy finish that will melt down in a year or two. Drinkable now, but better in 2024.
Always one of the more reliable commercially available Reservas on the market, this is a stylish, toasty, American oak-aged pairing of Tempranillo with 5% each of Maturana Tinta and Graciano for perfume and backbone. Chocolate, blackberry and liquorice flavours combine appealingly on the palate. 2022-30
