The Garnacha Blanca white 2020 Botijo Blanco was produced with grapes from dry-farmed, head-pruned vines averaging 25 years of age in the village of Épila at 460 meters in altitude planted on limestone-rich, white soils. It's fresh and lively, with a juicy and creamy texture with 13% alcohol and great freshness and acidity (pH 3.19 and 6.42 gram of acidity). It fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, where it matured with lees but without bâtonnage for four months. It's clean, aromatic and floral with notes of white flowers and fennel and a light palate and very pure flavors. Varietal and expressive, it's a longer and narrower style of Garnacha Blanca. 26,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2021.
