The Wine Advocate:
The white 2022 Cargol Treu Vi was produced with Xarel.lo from a single vineyard of 70-year-old vines at 350 meters in altitude. It fermented in 300-liter oak barrels, where the wine matured for 12 months, including malolactic. It has a bright yellow color and a more austere nose than the Principia Mathematica, and it feels more compressed and shy, perhaps because of the smaller containers used. It has a moderate 12.2% alcohol and a pH of 3.15 denoting freshness, with mellow acidity. 2,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2023.
