The new 2020 Carrasviñas Félix was produced to celebrate the 80th birthday of the founder of the winery and belongs to the new category of the Gran Vino de Rueda appellation. It was produced from older ungrafted vines in the village of Alcazarén. They wanted a Verdejo like the ones from the past and reflecting the austere personality of the person and his wines. It fermented in a 1,600-liter amphora where it matured for 12 months. It's subtle and harmonious, elegant and insinuating, not too aromatic but clean and open, still young and lively after maturing for one more year in bottle. 2,096 bottles were filled in October 2021.
