The Wine Advocate:

"The 2015 Monastrell Dulce is what its name says, a sweet red wine produced with Monastrell grapes picked very late, fortified to 16% to stop fermentation and with some 172 grams of unfermented sugar. It matured in a mixture of French and American barrels for six months before bottling. There are strong balsamic aromas mixing mint and tomato juice, hints of black olives and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is sweet, velvety and round, very pleasant. A classical red Mediterranean mistelle. 8,286 half-liter bottles. The price given is for a half liter".
