The classical 2016 Doix Costers de Vinyes Velles is a selection of very old vines (close to 100 years old) that feels harmonious, elegant and floral but with the rustic touch of 55% Cariñena, softened by the Garnacha. It has a vibrant and electric palate, with the acidity of many 2016s, which gives it length and tastiness and should make it develop nicely in bottle. It ranks among the finest vintages of Doix. 3,500 bottles were filled in April 2018. - Luis Gutiérrez.
Outstanding wine with superb rhubarb and redcurrant aromas. The plump, flesh and supple palate packs bags of juicy, vibrant fruit and has fine-grained tannins. Very powerful, energetic and concentrated. Really stunning!
En octubre de 1998, Valentín y Ramón Llagostera crean Mas Doix vendimiando viñas viejas de Garnacha y Cariñena para poner así en valor las uvas que anteriormente se trabajaban en la Cooperativa de Poboleda.

Un Priorat mayúsculo!!
Pocos vinos pueden y podrán transmitir tanto el terroir como lo hace este GRAN VINO , a sus pies !!!!!!!
Tengo un problema, y es que lo he probado después de un secastilla 2014. Magnífico y caro como siempre el Doix !!!
