"The NV Don Zoilo Amontillado 12 Años is an accessible but serious Amontillado that has reached 19% alcohol without a second fortification. It increased from the initial 15% of the Fino, which had flor for nine years, and then aged oxidatively. Age concentrates everything and it has good freshness and acidity, completely dry and sharp. It's very compact and integrated, perhaps because of that gradual evolution to oxidative character without further fortification. It has aromas of curry and toffee and is extremely tasty. Lovely, and very good value."
