The Wine Advocate:
The 2014 El Señorito is 100% Cencibel from 25-year-old vines from the Finca El Horcajo estate, which saw very low yields because of spring frosts. This is located in the cooler part of the estate and tends to produce fresher and more elegant wines. The élevage was in French barriques and lasted nine months. This is always a low-yielding vineyard because of frost and rabbits. It's classical, with fine-grained, round tannins and a soft, creamy mouthfeel. This is a cooler, more elegant style of Tempranillo in La Mancha. 8,000 bottles were filled in September 2016.
