The Wine Advocate:
The top wine from Rueda was also from the 2018 vintage, a cooler year in the zone, and the 2018 El Transistor showed quite fresh, fresher than the 2017, with notes of freshly cut grass and hay, what Verdejo used to be like in the past. The palate is serious and austere, with chalky minerality. I wish there were more Rueda wines like this one. 14,229 bottles produced.
