The evolution of the Reserva Barrica Vinya Esparter is the 2015 Esparter, pure Macabeo from a single vineyard planted in 1948. It has 12% alcohol and a pH of 3.10. Some 30% of the volume fermented in 500-liter oak barrels, where the wine matured for some eight months with the lees before it was put to re-ferment in bottle, where it matured for at least 50 months. It's vinous and varietal but keeping the freshness and poise. From this vintage, they used concentrated must from their own organically farmed vineyards for the second fermentation. 23,123 bottles.

Cava monovarietal de macabeu amb molt cos. Elegant.
