A fragrant nose of plums, dark cherries, dried herbs, caramel and baking spices. It’s medium-to full-bodied with round tannins. Rich and spicy with a chalky texture and a chewy finish. Drink or hold.
Made with purchased grapes from the higher parts of the Rioja Alavesa region, this is a dense, still youthful Tempranillo that will age well in bottle. The wood is sweet and scented, showing more American than French characteristics, the palate shows damson and blackberry fruit and the tannins need more time to soften in bottle. 2024-27
