The Wine Advocate:
"I felt a sense of purity and balance in the 2015 Vendimia Seleccionada like I hadn't seen in any recent wines from Gómez Cruzado, so maybe the new team is finding its way to express the naked variety and the zone. This was an early harvest and the wine is produced as a 50/50 blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha matured in French oak barrels for five months. The palate might be a little austere, with abundant, dusty, chalky tannins. Great introduction to serious Rioja reds at a very good price. 37,000 bottles produced."

El origen de Gómez Cruzado se remonta a más de un siglo atrás. Se trata de la tercera bodega fundada en el mítico Barrio de la Estación de Haro y la más pequeña de dicho enclave; un verdadero clásico que hoy se renueva.
