The Wine Advocate:

I was again impressed by the 2016 Vendimia Seleccionada, a 50/50 blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo from Alto Najerilla and Sierra Cantabria, respectively. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in French oak barrels for five months, with the aim of producing a fresh wine with red fruit. A serious, austere, balanced yet approachable red. Bravo! 37,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2017. - Luis Gutiérrez.

Suckling:

Plenty of bracken and brambly, rich ripe-plum, blueberry and raspberry aromas here. Smells really fresh and primary. The palate follows suit with a deep, rich and fleshy core of ripe-fruit flavors. Fresh, young Rioja. Drink now.
