Hacienda Solano Selección 2019 (x6)

The 2019 Selección is mostly Tempranillo with 2% white Albillo from small plots in the village of La Aguilera that fermented in concrete and stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in used 225-liter oak barrel (one-third of the volume) and concrete. 2019 is a riper year than 2018; they picked early to avoid excess ripeness, and in fact, they finished when some people hadn't yet started! The wine is juicy and round, with very integrated oak and a soft mouthfeel. This is very tasty with ripe flavors and a long aftertaste. 28,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2020.
