The Wine Advocate:
"The 2012 Selección is obviously a selection from their best vineyards, mostly Tempranillo with 20% Graciano aged mostly in French barriques (75%) for some 16 months. This is officially a 'Reserva'. The wine is oaky, ripe and concentrated in a style that would please many. Modern, with plenty of tannins to be rendered by time in bottle. Very good in its style. 59,408 bottles produced."

Izadi nació en 1987 en Villabuena de Álava. Sus impulsores fueron Gonzalo Antón, emprendedor de la restauración de la Rioja Alavesa, y algunos amigos y empresarios vitorianos que lo respaldaron en el proyecto.
