Quite an intense Rias Baixas with pear, pomelo, mineral and a some discreet tropical fruit. Crisp and flavorful with lots of fine lees and texture, delivering a sleek and fluid mouth-feel on the mid-palate, followed by some pomelo skin and citrus at the end. Albarino and loureiro. Drink now.
Terras Guada grow nearly all of the Caíño Blanco in Rías Baixas and have made something of a speciality out of the grape. This also includes 2% Albariño and Loureira, but it's effectively a varietal wine. Wonderfully taut, racy and salty, despite its O Rosal origins, with chiselled, mouth-watering acidity, citrus and lemongrass flavours and a balanced, tapering finish. 2023-30
Terras Gauda se encuentra en el extremo suroccidental de la provincia de Pontevedra, en la zona de O Rosal, limitando con Portugal y muy cerca de la desembocadura del río Miño.
