The Wine Advocate:
"Bottled two months ago, the 2012 Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey has a slightly earthier bouquet compared to the 2011 with touches of lemon peel, honeysuckle and orange zest. The palate is well balanced with a noticeably spicy entry. Moderate weight in the mouth, quite vibrant with good botrytis if not the depth and elegance of the previous vintage. This will probably be earlier drinking than the 2011, but it is finely crafted."
