"I was really impressed with the 2012 Lavia+, pure old vine Monastrell where they look for elegance and finesse rather than pure concentration, fermenting it with indigenous yeasts and aging it in 100% used 500-liter oak barrels (in the past there was always a percentage of new barrels). It felt like a textbook Mediterranean Monastrell, where you need to aim for balance and certain elegance within its powerful style. The oak is unnoticeable in the nose and there is a sense of harmony and depth. The 15.5% alcohol also goes unnoticed, which means there is enough of everything else to compensate: balance! Great showing for this bottling! And the price is unbelievable. 7,000 bottles produced".
Lavia nació en 2003 de la fascinación de un grupo de amantes de la vitivinicultura que querían crear vinos únicos de Monastrell: más frescos y elegantes.

Muy poco color para 12 meses en barrica. Aromas muy frutales. En boca muy aguado, sin potencia ni equilibrio.
La verdad es q esperaba un poco más de este vino, si se expresa la monastrell pero no llega a tener la potencia de un Jumilla.
Idem que 2009 , pero aun con mas falta de botella.duro y astringente
