Now into its second vintage, Legaris' collection of village wines has taken the bodega to a new level, confirming the talent of Jorge Bombín. The vines here are comparatively young at around 20 years, but they're planted in a special site at 973 metres. Rich and concentrated for a 2016, yet not lacking in freshness by any means, it has rich, savoury dark berry fruit, lots of spice and sweet oak and a backbone of tannin. 2022-30
Wild red cherries and blueberries with some sappy, fresh, leafy notes, as well as a graphite edge. The palate has a supple and succulent feel. Silky tannins cast a long, deep and juicy, fresh finish. Drink or hold.
A remarkable example of great quality at more affordable prices. This is a wine deftly made, with remarkable fruit intensity – maybe on the verge of overripeness, but still very attractive, with nice oak integration. It is intense and dense, yet very open and quite persistent. More defined by its style than by its origin, it is unmistakably Ribera. This is the type of wine that made me fall in love with Ribera

Poderoso, demasiado para mi gusto. En nariz licoroso, potente. En boca muy tánico, largo, algo rustico. Para una comida contundente
Creo que lo he abierto muy pronto, la botella lo afinará. Muy mineral y tánico, rugoso. Le daré otra oportunidad en el futuro
Algo rústico , cierta rudeza, necesita airearse un buen rato , cierta astringencia sobretodo al principio,Fantástico con un chorizo potente
