The first white I taste here, the 2022 Godello is from vineyards in the village of San Lorenzo. It's a ripe version of the grape with 13.9% alcohol and a serious palate, balanced, clean and round, with varietal character and integrated spice. It matured in oak foudres and concrete for six months. 30,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023.
Fresh and bright on the nose with a chalky undertone to the melon, green apples, herbs and white fruit. Juicy and lightly phenolic on the medium-bodied palate with fresh acidity and a pithy, taut finish. Drink now. - Zekun Shuai, Senior Editor.
Desde su fundación, la viticultura de Losada sigue un camino distinto al habitual en El Bierzo. En lugar de buscar viñas en pendientes de pizarra, se centran en recuperar viejos viñedos en zonas arcillosas.

Godello elegante, bien trabajado. Algo corto en nariz y se echa de menos una punta de acidez. RCP mejorable.
Vino bien hecho en todo, salvo en el precio.
