Marqués de Griñón Syrah 2014

"The 2014 Syrah was produced with fruit from vines planted in 1991. The grapes were hand harvested, destemmed and fermented, then followed by a soft maceration and 12 to 15 months in new and second use French oak barrels. It had notes of graphite and earth, with dark fruit and not much varietal character. The palate showed some dusty tannins and a finish with some bright berry fruit. 17,666 bottles were filled in June 2016".
