Milagros de Figuero 2015

Three 60-year-old vineyards in La Horra supply the fruit for this 100% new French oak-aged Tempranillo, all of them bush vines. With 50% malolactic in wood, it's very much a violetscented modern style, but none the worse for that. Concentrated it most certainly is, as you'd expect from a 2015, but the wine has freshness, poise and refined tannins to balance its core of dense blackberry and bramble fruit. Stylish stuff. 2021-30
