The 2015 Parotet is a blend of 60% Mandó, 30% Monastrell and 10% Arcos. These old-style reds fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic and 14 months in 2,600-liter buried amphorae. There is an herbal twist; it's very aromatic and balsamic, with subtle minerality and earthiness, and the tannins have some rusticity. They harvested earlier than the previous vintage I tasted, 2013, and the wine has less alcohol, contained ripeness and more balance. This wine also had some stems in the fermentation, and part was done in the stone lagars. 13,000 bottles were filled in July 2017. - Luis Gutiérrez.

Buen vino. Me encanta. No me pierdo ninguna añada. Muy suave al paladar.
Muy fan del Parotet. Mantiene el nivel y muy cerca de su hermano mayor.
