The single vineyard white 2015 Piesdescalzos was produced with grapes from an old, head-pruned 0.5-hectare plot of Albillo. The soil is very fine, of a sandy texture, with a subsoil of pink granite. They harvested earlier than ever in the super-warm 2015 and managed to bottle a Piesdescalzos with 13.5% alcohol, with good freshness and minerality. It has flavors and length, sustained by the minerality that gives it a very tasty profile and an almost salty finish. 2015 was a dry and warm vintage, but the vines yielded more grapes than in 2014 or even warmer years like 2009 or 2012. There is just a subtle spiciness, but other than that the oak is invisible. 2,054 bottles were filled in November 2016.

Uno de mis albillos preferidos, ligero, pero con personalidad.
Reconozco que esperaba más, pero tampoco es malo. En nariz es aceptable+ pero en boca demasiado salino para mí. Valoración Rxm 88.
