The 2017 Planetes de Nin Carinyena Blanca was picked in the first half of September with yields of 18 hectoliters per hectare. The total vinification and élevage lasted seven months in well-seasoned, neutral 300-liter French oak barrels. The wine is open and expressive right from the beginning; it's from a very dry year with good ripeness, and despite that, the wine has a lot of freshness. There are notes of fennel and Mediterranean herbs, white peach and spices. The palate is very tasty, with almost saline flavors and a very dry, long finish. 3,907 bottles were filled in April 2018. - Luis Gutiérrez.
