Termes Blanco 2019

There is now a white wine, the 2019 Termes Blanco, produced mostly with Malvasía Castellana grapes from individual plants intermixed in the field in the red vineyards. 2019 was a cooler vintage in their zone, and the wine has moderate alcohol and good acidity and freshness. It fermented in barrique and small stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts, and 30% of the volume matured with the fine lees and weekly bâtonnage for four months. I likes the reductive personality, shy and austere, both in the nose and the palate, where the wine is fruit-driven, dry, tasty and balanced with a faint bitter touch in the finish. 2,500 bottles were filled in June 2020. - Luis Gutiérrez.
