"The 2013 Tricó felt a bit reductive and leesy, and was in fact very recently bottled and is still not released. It's the house's flagship, pure Albariño from dry-farmed, 25-year-old vines on decomposed granite slopes. It matured in vat for one year before being bottled and once bottled, it's still kept in the winery for a further year to polish its edges. The 2013 shows some herbal aromas, white rather than yellow fruit and distant echoes of wet stones. The palate is medium-bodied, quite soft for what I expected, ending with a pleasant bittersweet sensation. 30,000 bottles produced".
