Vallobera Graciano 2017

Wood spice and black cherry scents with a balsamic hint; silky palate and refined tannins. Very long finish.

Planted at 600 metres, back in 1999, in Laguardia, this Graciano vineyard would have seemed marginal then but not so much today. Taut, firm and suitably tannic, but with ripe damson and blueberry fruit and well-integrated oak, this is a well-made example of a serious Graciano that is well balanced by new French oak. 2022-27
