The Wine Advocate:
"The 2011 Venus La Universal showed surprisingly fresher than the 2012, even when it was an extremely dry and warm vintage. But there are less iron notes here, quite Mediterranean with aromas of dried herbs and the dusty character of Cariñena on clay soils. This is a powerful, concentrated and serious red that needs time in bottle and/or powerful food."

Great wine, bold tannins and a good balance of accidity... Oak and strong earthy pepper. Quite rough, not suitable with other than proteins.

Después de beber varias veces Dido La Universal, uno se espera un punto más de refinamiento en Venus. No está. Incluso rozando lo "sucio".
Especialisimo. Para sorprender. Algo caro.
