They started with Garnacha Blanca in 2014, but I had never encountered until this 2017 Garnacha Blanca, fermented part in barrique, part in stainless steel and part in flextank (plastic eggs), from a two-hectare vineyard planted in 2007, a variety that almost disappeared from Navarra. It has remarkable freshness and acidity for a warm year like 2017. It matured in 500-liter oak barrels and the oak feels perfectly integrated. It has floral and citrus notes and a lively and soft palate. There were 11,000 bottles produced and bottled in May 2018.
