The incredibly young 2015 Tras da Viña comes from a different soil: sand from decomposed granite that produces a powerful wine that winemaker Eulogio Pomares feels shows better in its second bottled year. He doesn't do bâtonnage but keeps the wine with the lees for longer. He does not use sulfur other than at bottling time, and the lees help to keep the wine during its élevage. This is powerful, with more citrus acidity, quite pungent that also makes the wine very long. It has a mineral note in the nose that I liked very much. This is a superb Tras da Viña, for the long haul. 5,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2017.

Amarillo intenso. Fresco, mineral y muy complejo. Excelente paso y acidez controlada. Muy seco. Untuoso. Le quedan años todavía.
