The 2015 Monastrell was produced with grapes from different plots in the La Tella estate property from the Gil family in Jumilla, from vines averaging 60 years of age on limestone-rich stony soils. It fermented in open-top vats with neutral yeasts followed by malolactic in new French and American oak barrels, where the wine matured for almost two years. 2015 was a classical Mediterranean vintage. 12,000 bottles were filled in October 2017.
