La Vendimia è il vino perfetto per iniziare a scoprire l'emozionante mondo di Álvaro Palacios nella Rioja, in particolare nella sua cantina di famiglia: Palacios Remondo, situata ad Alfaro. Questo è il vino rosso più accessibile della casa, fatto con uve Tempranillo e Garnacha. Un eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo per dimostrare che i vini della Rioja fatti da grandi produttori possono essere alla portata di tutte le tasche.

Muestra un atractivo e intenso color rojo picota con ribete violáceo.
Profumo
Fruta roja silvestre con un fondo de tostados. Fruta más compotada, exóticos especiados, matices torrefactos, sotobosque y una fresca mineralidad.
Bocca
De entrada sabrosa, amable, con una fruta madura de sensación carnosa. Equilibrada acidez y final muy expresivo y persistente, con recuerdos propios de la crianza, torrefactos, mineralidad y toques de vainilla. Fácil de beber.
Temperatura di servizio
Se recomienda servir entre 12 y 14 ºC.
Consumo
Óptimo hasta 2024 aproximadamente si se conserva en buenas condiciones.

Vigna e preparazione

Descrizione
Viñedos de varios municipios de la D.O.Ca. Rioja inscritos en viticultura ecológica. Estilo de poda de doble cordón royat y vaso tradicional.

Entre 10 y 40 años.
Suolo
En la Rioja Baja predominan los suelos arcillo-ferroso con un fondo cálcico y en la Rioja Alta los suelos arcillo-calcáreos.
Clima
Mediterráneo con gran influencia atlántica.
Rendimento
35 hectolitros por hectárea.
Raccolto
Se realiza siempre a mano y bajo una estricta selección.
Vinificazione
Tras el despalillado y el estrujado se realiza la maceración durante 20 días. Fermentación alcohólica espontánea en tinos de acero inoxidable con remontados, utilizando levaduras autóctonas. Posteriormente se realiza la maloláctica en depósitos de acero inoxidable.
Invecchiamento
Crianza de 4 meses en barricas.

The young 50/50 blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo from the zone of Alfaro in Rioja is the 2019 La Vendimia. It was scheduled to be bottled after mid-July 2020, after aging in oak vats and barrels for four months to add some complexity while preserving the freshness and primary character of the wine. It has a nose that combines the floral character of the Garnacha and the more serious profile of Tempranillo, with the two being quite integrated. It's juicy and lively, medium to full-bodied, with 14.3% alcohol, reflecting the heat and drought of the year. It has attractive aromas and flavors that are refined and elegant, gravitating toward floral and red fruit notes, and with very fine tannins that give it a silky texture. The mouthfeel is quite soft, with integrated acidity; it doesn't reflect the extreme conditions of the year and comes through as nicely balanced. There will be 337,000 bottles of this vintage.
