Magallanes 2007 Magnum

"The 2005 Seleccion is 100% Tempranillo sourced from 80- to 100-year-old vineyards and aged for 24 months in 80% new French oak. Deep purple colored, it present a slightly roasted nose of mineral, underbrush, Asian spices, lavender, blackberry, and a hint of blueberry. On the palate it delivers an extra dimension of flavor that can only come from old vines. Velvety textured, intense, and concentrated, it cannily combines elegance and power. This lengthy effort will have a drinking window extending from 2014 to 2025 if not longer."
