The Wine Advocate:

Produced with Godello grapes from higher altitude slopes in Bierzo, the 2016 La Revelía fermented in stainless steel and aged in 500-liter oak barrels where it matured in contact with lees for eight months before bottling. It's 13.5% alcohol and has a very high acidity (eight grams) and low pH (3.1). It's quite fruit-driven, they have been very careful with the integration of the oak, in a challenging year when they had to sort and select. It has a similar profile to the El Zarzal, which is clean and with a soft palate. They are thinking of planting some 50 hectares of new Godello vines. These whites have a commercial profile, accessible and tasty, with varietal character, here with more focus and clarity. 5,278 bottles were filled in November 2017.

Suckling:

Impressive freshness and purity here with a very smooth build on the palate. This is an impressive, deep and fresh white with fresh apples and white melon. Some good complexity. Drink now.
