Recensioni degli esperti

James Suckling:

A solid, textural and well-structured red with dark plums and warm spices on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Juicy with some chocolate influence. Medium finish.

Decanter:

Highly perfumed aromatics. Full and filling for the vintage, massy tannins have a lovely texture - chewy but fine and cool too, giving a gentle bounce to this expression with crystalline fruit and lovely mineral edges. This has a glossy feel, ripe and concentrated fruit with a perfectly sculpted frame. Feels very classy and full of sweet and lifted acidity. Great stuff here. Love this. 5% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Tasted twice.

The Wine Advocate:

Aromas of blackberries, cassis and toasty oak introduce the 2024 Gloria, a medium-bodied, lively wine built around youthfully chalky tannins.

Tim Atkin:

Violet and rose perfume with bright purple fruit aromas to complement. Juicy acidity and fresh frutti di bosco flavours. mid-weight tannins and fresh acidity, this is a cracking effort given the vintage conditions and betokens a lot of work in the vineyard and winery, just like its Saint Pierre sibling.
