With six years on the lees, this is the longest aged Sekt in this line-up. The nose is creamy and has salty, peppery overtones alongside vivid notes of fresh rye sourdough. The palate clearly shows some evolution, coming in with intriguing notes of salty liquorice and ripe yellow apple. The fine mousse pays testament to the long ageing while vibrant lemon makes for mouth-watering acidity. Beautifully complex and very long. This is just cut out to go with briny rock oysters. Delicious.
Etwas Zitrusfrucht im Duft. Hefe. Dezent kräuterwürzige Untertone. Im Mund hat der Wein viel Kraft, das frische Mousseux entfaltet einige Dynamik, etwas Süße stützt die Frucht, die Säure hält lange an. Ein geradezu muskuloser Sekt.
Esta casa fundada en Berlín y posteriormente se trasladó a la actual Lorena, territorio que hubo de abandonar tras la derrota alemana en la guerra y que le hizo perder los territorios de Alsacia y Lorena en favor de Francia.
Saliendo de champanes y cavas, hay vinos espectaculares. Este sekt es uno de ellos sin lugar a dudas. Impresionante.
