Cream Tradición VOS

There are not that many quality Creams, as it's a category that has little fame and tends to go to the lower segments of the market. However, the 1/23 bottling of the NV Cream VOS is quite impressive and among the best I've tried in the category. The Oloroso and the PX feel very integrated, like they were blended a long time ago and then aged together in the soleras y criaderas system of dynamic blending, but in reality, it's 70% of their old Oloroso with 30% of their young PX. The blend has an average age of 20 years. It has notes of peach, brandy, nuts and raisins, quite harmonious. It has 18.5% alcohol and 128 grams of sugar, dense and quite sweet. 1,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2023.
