Predominantly from volcanic soils, the 2021 Riesling Trocken is super clear, fresh and flinty on the precise and reductive nose that shows ripe but focused fruit with white peach and apricot aromas. Light and highly stimulating on the palate, this is a salty, crisp and grippy Riesling with juicy fruit and the mineral expression of the Nahe. 11.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted in July 2022.
So juicy and yet so,filigree, this is a wonderful introduction to the light side of German riesling. So many white flowers that they fall out of the bouquet, the touch of natural grape sweetness accentuating this beautifully. Long, clean finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink now. Screw cap.
