Falstaff:

A creamy apple note sets the tone, announcing smoothness and flavour intensity. The palate has a lovely, heightened note of redcurrant fruit, bright and tart and so alive, underneath there is salted shortcrust and an edge of marzipan. The body is smooth and sinuous, vivid and emollient with fine foam. Flavours echo long, the freshness even longer. Very elegant.

The Wine Advocate:

With a dosage of 4.3 grams per liter, the 2010 Brut Rosé Grande Sendrée is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. It offers up a distinctive, complex bouquet of guava, strawberries, rhubarb, wild plums and spices. Medium to full-bodied, vinous and structured, it’s layered with an enveloping core of fruit and an exotic finish.

James Suckling:

Aromas of ginger, dried pineapple, baked apple, nutmeg and toast. Rich and flavorful, with silky bubbles and zippy acidity. Spicy and gently toasty, with a lengthy finish. 55% pinot noir and 45% chardonnay. Unfiltered. Disgorged in April 2022. Drink or hold.
