I also previewed the 2016 Finca Dofí, which has vibrant acidity and more freshness than the 2015. It's a wine that really stands out among the 2016s—explosive and long, with concentration and elegance. This could very well become the finest Dofí to date. There is almost no need to do more than savour the sumptuous aroma of violets, blueberry conserve and fine cedar. A deep and complex Priorat red, with intense blueberry and pomegranate character, but also with a certain lightness of touch. This has great, plush tannins, lively acidity for this vintage and a long, complex finish. Better from 2019 with serious aging potential.
