La Solana Alta 2023

The 2023 La Solana Alta is a single-vineyard white from La Vilella Alta, from a plot planted with Garnacha Blanca and Cariñena Blanca in 2010 on limestone and clay at 450 meters above sea level. The grapes were picked looking at the acidity, and their juice fermented in barrels, foudre and concrete at low temperature and without malolactic. It matured in new barrels for six months and in foudre for another four months. It has a pale color, a young profile and amazing balance and depth for such young vines. It has a moderate 13% alcohol and kept a pH of 3.2. 1,100 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2024.
