The 2017 The Work of Time Red Blend is made up of 41% Cabernet Franc, 37% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot. This blend has a complex flavor profile consisting of dusty and dark fruits with layers of richness. It has a pronounced spiciness that mingles with juicy blackberry reduction and spiced plum compote. This medium to full-bodied wine is firm and tannic, with a food-friendly finish that has hints of black cherry and plum skin. The wine was aged for 24 months in new and seasoned Sequin Moreau barrels. After that, it was aged for an additional 48 months in the bottle before bottling. Give it a try.
