Château La Lagune 2024 en Primeur

A balanced, textural and refined red with cherries and sweet spices. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Velvety texture with a long, denser finish.

Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, brightening on the rim. Fresh cherries, fine cassis, inviting wild berries, attractive bouquet. Juicy, elegant, ripe cherry fruit, fine fruitiness, round tannins, good freshness, remains persistent, mineral, with good prospects.

Sweet spices and herbs with blackcurrant fruit underneath and some cedary oak and graphite. Juicy acidity and freshness with mid-weight tannins. Chalky minerals and good depth on the finish. This is a very creditable wine for the vintage and much effort in the vineyards clearly shows through.
