Trois Croix, 2022
Descrizione
Floreale, elegante e accattivante.

Intensely floral on the nose, really aromatic and inviting with rich, ripe fruit scents. Bright, lively and supple, much lighter in terms of flavour and brightness on the palate than the nose suggests but still with concentration. So juicy and succulent, really appealing, easy and unfussy. Excellently worked, great tannic integration and sense of style. Not trying too hard but ticks the boxes of being refreshing, cool, dense, softly fleshy and charming. Delicious, sweet, sharp, tangy, fun, controlled and stylish. A sure fire buy! A juicy and serious Fronsac offering aromas of blackberries, sweet spices and hints of earth. It’s medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Vivid and finely textured, it shows a bright core of berries at the center. Agile and poised. Dense and persistent finish. Drink from 2027.
Lots of red, blue, and black fruits emerge from the 2022 Château Les Trois Croix, a wonderfully textured, medium to full-bodied, balanced Fronsac. I love its purity of fruit, it has a great mid-palate, and my money is on this being an outstanding wine.
Dark ruby garnet, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate rim brightening. Ripe dark forest berry fruit, hints of prunes, nuances of nougat. Juicy, fine fruit sweetness, freshly structured, mineral and already well developed, a versatile food companion with certain ageing potential.
