La Bota de Florpower 99 Antes de la flor MMXIX

The one-off 2019 La Bota de Florpower 99 MMXIX has "Antes de la flor" (before flor) on the label because it was fermented in stainless steel tank rather than in barrel (butt) like all the rest of the vintages before. At the end of 2019, the wine from Miraflores felt different and they put it in another tank, but it never saw a butt or flor and developed a unique character; so, they decided to do a different Florpower, which is more about the soil than the flor, and the wines have the personality of the place with time in bottle, irrespective of the process. This is sapid and has a chalky sensation. Florpower is now more about the place, Sanlúcar, than the process... 2,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2021.
