"He maiden 2009 El Pacto is 100% Tempranillo from 70- to 80-year-old vines sourced from small estates around La Sonsierra that have adopted organic and natural winemaking, and it is aged for 14 months in new French oak. It has a succulent nose of cassis and raspberry fruit with well-integrated oak that gains volume with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a ripe, rounded entry threaded with fine acidity. The finish is supple and generous in the mouth, with notes of blackberry and Morello on the pert finish. Drink now-2016".
